This is an excellent opportunity for a community to land a Global Headquarters with very little effort. Our Chairman, Eric Kleinsorge, spoke with the CFO for a little over an hour regarding their desire to find an alternative location for their headquarters. The currently have 25 people in their headquarters, but have realized telecommuting is possible for them. Their biggest concern is a BPOL Tax they have to pay each year in their current city which amounts to $167,000 annually. Their corporate taxes are 6% and personal property tax is not that much of a concern. They will maintain one location due to a restriction of a certain proximity to Washington DC they must maintain for their contracts.
